Imagine dressing up in costumes, delivering the news, teaching a cooking lesson or even building a mummy. In Mrs. Bonanza’s sixth grade classroom at Gansevoort students are doing just that and more all while learning about subjects such as Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt.

On December 11, 2019, Gansevoort held their Cookies with Santa event. Families were invited to participate in many stations set up throughout the school including Photos with Santa, Reading with Mrs.Claus, Cookie Decorating, Polar Express, Holiday Crafts, and Book Fair.  

Gansevoort Family Game Night was held on November 20, 2019. Families were invited to join their students for bingo!  

Gansevoort Halloween Parade 2019 

Gansevoort Elementary School held a 'Camp Read A Lot' event on Thursday, October 17th. The evening featured pictures with giant pumpkins, animals from The Wild, storytelling in the gym with Jervis Public Library, crafts, chili tasting contest, MVP Health Care, refreshments and more!
